Night Owl Willie Ames ABOUT THE SONG "Night Owl" is for all of those who sleep all day and stay awake all night! Depicted by a short story of an actual owl. It's folk/rock music fused with some hip hop beats and some of that good old finger pickin on an open D tuning guitar. The artwork is the album cover for my new album Night Owl as "Night Owl" is the title track. I myself am a night owl :-) LYRICS A night owl, from up on the hill Hoots and hollers for a midnight kill For it's a rodent's guts that he's hungry to spill Waiting up in the tree all calm and chill Then he takes off full flight Into the night He's got his radar out Scoping out the sight Makes a final pass, across the moon full and bright Then he dives down fast, snatches a rat real tight Back up in the tree, delivers the first bite!
